The Sequatchie County Government is comprised of a County Executive and Board of Commissioners. County Administrators include Property Assessor, County Clerk, County Trustee, and Register of Deeds. The County Executive can be reached by calling 423-949-3479. The City Government of Dunlap is made up of a Mayor, Vice Mayor and three additional commissioners. They meet on the third Thursday of the month and can be reached by calling Dunlap City Hall at 423.949.2115.

The Business Tax Clerk primarily processes and issues a business license. The CLerk also issues beer permits, transient and vendor permits.
